The Basics of Karmic Readings - Karmic Triggers

The list below contains the most important points to consider in a karmic or transcendental reading. If you want to learn the details please join one of my courses in London or in Budapest (see COURSES).

  1. Hemisphere emphasis: the map of behavior
  2. The Moon Phase at birth: the soul’s position within the Incarnation Cycle
  3. The Ascendant: the Mask
  4. The Moon: the spiritual essence
  5. The daily travel of the Moon: the speed of decoding abilities and talents of karmic origin
  6. The Sun: the chosen direction of ego development
  7. Saturn (Lord of Karma): fears and anxieties
  8. Chiron: karmic wounds and healing potentials
  9. The first five asteroids (Ceres - the Nurturing Principle; Pallas Athena - the Wise Girl; Juno - the First Lady; Vesta - the Focusing Principle; Astraea - the Karma Breaker), and the LILITHS (manifestations of the banished Goddess)
  10. Asteroids in tight conjunction with relevant points in the chart: the personal karmic level
  11. Centaurs in tight conjunction with the personal planets, the chart ruler, the Nodes, or the angles: they describe the nature of karmic wounds and the experiences gained through them. You can find a list of currently named centaurs here.
  12. The Nodal axis (South Node: karmic knowledge; North Node: chosen karmic task)
  13. The Vertex: the trigger of fatal events
  14. Unaspected planets: energy patterns that are hard to access
  15. The lack of aspects between personal planets: defects of self knowledge
  16. Retrograde personal planets as karmic triggers (Mercury Rx: wounded speech, learning, or self expression; Venus Rx: wounded sexuality, self-worth, or sex organs; Mars Rx: wounded will, self-assertion, or manhood)
  17. Out of bounds planets (in extreme declination): the links between 3D reality and the Universe
  18. The role of karmic aspects (30°, 150°): how to understand and accept destiny
  19. Delineation of minor aspects (the quintile series; septile, novile, quindecile)
  20. Delineation of wide or dissociate aspects ("suspended karma") and bidirectional aspects (what looks like a certain way is not necessarily true)
  21. Karmic configurations (Yod, Boomerang, T Square, Grand Cross, etc.)
  22. The delineation of “lacks” (empty houses, missing elements, modalities, aspects, etc.)
  23. The void of course Moon: the soul's "way out" of karmic bonds
  24. The Sun between sign cusps: a "pushed" soul, having difficulties with the Earth plane
  25. Intercepted signs: "suspended karma"
  26. Delineation of Prenatal Eclipses (Solar Eclipse: the consciously chosen energy pattern; Lunar Eclipse: the soul's individual inner path)
  27. Fixed stars in tight orb (1° in longitude, 1/2° in declination): potential incarnations in higher dimensions and alternative worlds
  28. The karmic delineation of the astrological houses
  29. The IC: the hidden karmic roots and the qualities of the end of life period
  30. The 8th house: karmic debts
  31. The 12th house: the karmic bank safe - potential talents gained in past lives that are hidden because they have been misused or abused, and are too painful or difficult
  32. Understanding typical karmic topics through prominent asteroids and centaurs (places, historical eras, event triggers)
